PoP Filters was founded in 2000 as an individual commercial activity. Its first act was the creation and distribution of the PoP Filters paper filter tip booklet, which is now sold in hundreds of thousands of pieces per year..

Following the excellent results of this initial activity, the year 2002 saw the birth of the firm PoP Filters Srl, which had the firm goal to create a complete catalogue of products dedicated to the 56.000 tobacconist shops all over Italy..

The founders great creativity and initiative, combined with the dynamism of the Tobacconists market, allowed PoP Filters to enrich its catalogue with always new products especially dedicated to the gravity feed machines sector.

This special kind of shops - Tobacconists - play today a main role in the distribution of both monopoly and consumer goods, as activities able to grant a capillary distribution of a series of services (payment of vehicle TV and other taxes, lottery games, phone card recharges, instant lottery ticket selling). All these services qualify these shops as extremely important selling points and the main collaborators of the Italian Government, working in the double role of tax collectors and reliable promoters for all these services..

Needless to say, the Tobacconists' professionalism increased enormously in the last 10 years and their knowledge of products and expectations on them with it, including their interest for the articles dedicated to the 24H machines.

Moreover, we cannot neglect the remarkable work done by the F.I.T. (Tobacconists Italian Federation) which used the tool represented by its vastly read magazine "La Voce del Tabaccaio" to cultivate a powerful sense of belonging among the members of this category. They became like a great family working together, sharing information about problems and solutions, and in so doing, bringing on and developing the common interests of the whole category.

Since the very beginning and with all these points clearly evident in its mind, PoP Filters Srl operated in the aim of offering to these professional men high quality products with a beautiful graphic image and a competitive price.

This is how the catalogue was enriched, adding the new cardboard boxes for gravity feed machines (in 4 different versions and sizes), the LovePoP branded condoms, the Vib-ring sex enhancers, the PoP Filters acetate filter tips (both in the smooth and wrinkly versions), the empty PoP cigarette tubes and tube loading machine, the Double PoP lighter holder and many other articles.

Parallel to all these actions, in 2004 PoP Filters created and patented a small (CE certified) dispenser of products suitable for internal and external positioning and able to function even in the hardest conditions: it's the BR500 24H PoP Shop machine.
